Cllr Ethan Hopkinson
As the Deputy Mayor of Irthlingborough and a Town Councillor for the John Pyel Ward it is my vision to make Irthlingborough a wonderful place to live, work and visit.
I have lived in Irthlingborough my whole life, including going to the local schools, and I am very proud of my home town. For a number of years I have been actively involved in the local community through volunteering and employment.
Previously I have volunteered at the Library, represented Huxlow Academy (Huxlow Science College at the time) as Deputy Head Boy, co-founded Irthlingborough Youth Club and worked at the local pub, The Oliver Twist.
As Deputy Mayor I enjoy seeing the work and achievements of people and organisations across Irthlingborough, and beyond, when attending events on behalf of The Mayor, and I am always struck by the generosity and dedication shown by people towards their respective causes.
Currently I work for RSPCA Northamptonshire as Community Events and Fundraising Coordinator, helping them to promote their vision of 'a world where all animals are respected and treated with compassion' and support Irthlingborough Town Cricket Club through their Entertainment Committee.
If there is ever anything that I can support you with, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
